Surprise Surprise! "Ain't the Beer Cold" Headlines WNIR's "Radio Oktoberfest Special"

When we wrote "Ain't the Beer Cold," we didn't know that WNIR would have an "Oktoberfest" special this fall.  I swear!  But like "love and marriage" in the old Sammy Cahn/Jimmy Van Heusen tune, which go together like "a horse and carriage," "Ain't the Beer Cold" and "Oktoberfest" go together like . . . .  Well, I don't think even the venerable Mr. Cahn could rhyme this one, so let's just say it's a great fit.

Radio Oktoberfest runs from now until October 10th at 7:00 pm on World National Indie Radio (WNIR).  Along with Harrison Country, it features many outstanding indie artists along with "lesser know" talents like Chris Stapleton, Walker Hayes and Ed Sheeran.  You can tune into the good times here.  "Ain't the Beer Cold" is up second.

To see the full lineup of performers, and the fetching, lead artwork that WNIR was savvy enough to use, click here.

Happy Listening!

this is a group to WATCH. The entire family sings, and do they ever swing. Such a great relief from the "new" country music, which has completely lost my interest. They are sure to become treasures with their unique blend of voices and variety of songs. Don writes them, and can he ever crunch the words and create catchy stuff that stays with the listener and creates a need for MORE. They can handle slow and bluesy, knee-slapping roudy, and everything in between.
